What drew you to be a HALTER Jockey?

I always wanted a horse growing up and never got one even though I asked for one every Christmas.  I absolutely love children.  The combination of horses helping children and seeing children's smiles reminds me of joy in life.  Raising money to care for the horses and the therapy program so children can continue to be helped (which in turn helps their families, parents, and siblings) is very important to me.  

Tell us a little bit about yourself...

I am a sole proprietor CPA with an accounting and tax practice that has given me the ability to raise my children, support wonderful organizations such as HALTER and meet many amazing people.  I love to read (when I can find time), hike with my wonderful husband, spend time with my amazing four children/parents/extended family, and travel as much as possible.  

What the 2022 Derby is about...

EVERY child who participates at HALTER depends on the generosity of our donors, because the fees that are charged to individuals only cover 11% of the expenses.
