What drew you to be a HALTER jockey?
It is a worthwhile cause for children with special needs to have the option to participate in a community program such as HALTER. I want to support HALTER by helping to raise awareness and funding through the HALTER Derby event.
Tell us a litte bit about yourself...
I was a psychiatric nurse for Spartanburg Regional for 25 years. I am now retired and enjoy traveling with my husband and family, spending time with my 3 grandchildren, playing bridge, walking with friends, and being on the board of Questers. As a psychiatric nurse, I understand how the therapeutic services at HALTER can help children in our community.
What the 2022 HALTER Derby is about...
EVERY child who participates at HALTER depends on the generosity of our donors, because the fees that are charged to individuals only cover 11% of the expenses.
